About

I’m Judith, the face behind Casa Judá. The name is a nod to Judith — “Juud” — and reflects everything I want my work to embody: warmth, tranquillity, and that immediate feeling of being at home. Originally from the Netherlands, I now live on the Costa del Sol.

In 2022, my partner and I bought a new-build home in Mijas, which gave me again the opportunity to fully design and furnish a home from scratch. To bring my ideas to life, I taught myself SketchUp to create floor plans and spent months carefully sourcing furniture, lighting, and décor from the Netherlands before our home was completed in July 2024.

Over the years, I have personally designed, furnished, and styled several homes from the ground up. Each project strengthened my passion for interiors and taught me how thoughtful design can completely transform the way a space feels.

We renovated and styled our outdated holiday home in the Netherlands ourselves — and discovered again how much we loved transforming spaces into places that feel warm, inviting, and personal.

Today, I combine that passion with a keen eye for detail to help property owners present their homes at their very best — creating interiors that connect with guests, attract buyers, and leave a lasting impression.

Casa Judá was born from my passion for creating spaces where people immediately feel at home — whether they are arriving for a holiday or searching for a place to live. My goal is to create calm, atmosphere, and memorable first impressions, both in person and through the images that attract guests and buyers online.

´What I love most is creating homes with character. Whether that means introducing a statement wall with beautiful wallpaper, incorporating a limewash finish, or thoughtfully styling around existing furniture and finishes, I always focus on what complements the property best.´

Every home is unique — never one-size-fits-all.

While waiting for our home in Spain to be completed, we stayed in several Airbnb's across the region. Every time we booked, one thing always influenced my decision: the feeling a property gave me through its photos and interior style. I believe a holiday home should feel welcoming the moment you walk through the door — a place guests instantly connect with and want to return to. Creating that feeling doesn’t require an extravagant budget; thoughtful design and attention to detail make all the difference.

Although my professional background is in Human Resources, my passion for interiors has grown steadilyover the years. I’ve completed courses in home styling, lighting plans, mood board creation, Beton Ciré application, kitchen wrapping, and I also enjoy hands-on work such as painting and wallpapering. To further develop my expertise, I also completed professional home staging training through NIA Academy.
